LUNCH IN BAYSIDE WITH THE KIDS

Eunice tossed the coin!  She and I got to take the chickies out again.  I have a feeling that the coin had the same chicken head on both sides.  We took Ethel Louise and Mildred to a restaurant in Bayside.  We figured that since we had gone to Press 195 in Rockville Centre we might as well go to the one in Bayside and meet the Executive Chef Brian Karp.

Ethel Louise and Mildred took a look at the Children's menu.  Mildred was curious about the homemade chicken fingers since they don't have any.  Eth just closed her eyes to it.

It turned out that they ordered it.  Eunice and I were a bit disturbed to see it. Then  again, it wasn't our finger being used!

The restaurant was recommended by our friend, Merle.  We spoke with this kind waitress, Kaitlyn Martinez, who was quite helpful.  However, I think she made a mistake when she brought a plate of Buffalo Chicken Wings....and she knew it!

We were all pretty hungry and also wanted to sample different sandwiches.   Since turkey is not chicken there was no issue in ordering the Thanksgiving sandwich using a knish instead of bread.

There was another one that looked great....named after Brian's mom that had brisket in it...try saying, "A box of brisket. A box of mixed briskets. And a brisket mixer"  Fast....three times. LOL

Lastly was a sandwich that we missed having in Pittsburgh.  Had the cole slaw and Belgian fries in the sandwich!!

We were really full and all had a good time.
