MARILYN AND MINERVA LOVE VALENTINO'S

Marilyn and I were checking out a whole bunch of food that came from some Italian produce place in Ridgewood, Queens here in New Yolk.  We didn't take the camera with us but heard that our friend Merle did.

We waited until we got home and had Esther take the photos while Eunice was babysitting Mildred and Ethel Louise. 

There wasn't just vegetables and fruit.  We couldn't help but notice two different types of  Panettone.  We talked about how we were going to get it open.  Then there was all this great Italian cookies and candies.  Marilyn was trying to steal the nougat and not share with the rest of the family.

There was fresh pasta, gluten free pasta, a can of kidney beans (no made from any chicken's or any other animal's kidney) and a jar of tuna filets.   Marilyn tried to take the lid off of it so she could steal it away.  I just laughed at her attempt. 

Chick peas they call them.....ha, ha, ha.   Sound like when our babies go wee wee.  FOFLOL

I thought we'd get lost in this group of vegetables.  We tried tasting some.

Love the colors of these....a bit bitter, though.

I think that Esther was laughing at us thinking how stuffed we would get.

There was some organic goodies as well. We both tried to open up the cranberries.

 Valentino's has a deli and cooks up some things, too. We have no idea what baccala is. Something's fishy about it.

 We decided that we had enough looking and tasting....we will indulge shortly.
