CONTINUING WITH HENDOCINO COUNTY

Our next destination in Hendocino County was Point Arena. On the way we stopped to see the redwoods trees...I think Merle, Barbara and Nancy are following us...well at least Merle helped us get a closer look at one of the trees...they are certainly tall!

Eunice and I decided to stop at the Point Arena Lighthouse and got a tour of the museum. We really didn't want to climb those lighthouse stairs. Loved the friendly staff.

Then came one of what would become out favorite places...the B. Bryan Preserve. There were lots of animals...endangered ones that this guy and his wife owned. Not a big variety...several species of antelopes, different species of zebras. Eunice just asked what a zebra was...then said, "It's the largest bra you could find".

We we able to see the henhouse and even tried laying some of eggs...just wouldn't work. We even tried talking to the hens to ask how it's done.

This place has accommodations so we slept there overnight...it was a whole cottage so we shared it with M,B, and N. We must have both had the same nightmare...our friends were boiling some eggs.
