Eunice and I were invited to someone's house to enjoy a Passover seder. I think we might have gone to one a long time ago, but don't remember.
Here we are checking out the seder plate that had a roasted egg, lamb shank, parsley and bitter herbs. We couldn't help but wonder about the egg.
The three maztos were placed on the table and we all had a peace after saying a prayer....something about not having time to leaven bread.
Part of the tradition is to have an egg in salt water. We kind of passed on the egg itself but had a little of the yolk in the salt water.
Dinner consisted of chicken, potatoes, broccoli, and salmon. We had the salmon and discussed whether to have any of the chicken for obvious reasons.
During the seder we were to partake in four glasses of wine. I might have had too much and even went after the special cup reserved for Miriam.
We saved room for dessert of poached pear, poached apple and macaroon.
