Esther resided at the Rubber Chicken Forest at the Twisted Oak Winery in California. She was taken home and enjoyed herself until she saw her twin sister's photo on an egg carton. Eunice was sent to New York to be with Esther. At first they did not get along as Esther was used to traveling alone. Now they travel together. The family expands adopting Ethel Louise at Chix R' Us and taking in Marilyn, a kleptomaniac, and Minerva, who have recently adopted baby Mildred.

LYONS AND NEWARK AND PALMYRA, OH MY!
Although Esther and I have never been to Newark, New Jersey, we did go to Newark, New York. Since we were staying at the Vintage Gardens Bed and Breakfast we checked in first before our tour. We had to test out the bed and noticed that there was a welcome note from their dog, Baxter. We also tested out the couch to see if it was a good spot to watch television.
This nice man John Sornow took us to this local historic museum. Then we first took a tour to see where the original canal was. Esther and I got our picture taken in a tree that overlooked one of the spots. After that we went over to the real canal. We even saw a boat going through a lock. Eunice was concerned as she looked up in a nearby tree and thought she saw the Lock Nest Monster.
Back at a the canal was where John worked at the information center. It was there that we met Mayor Peter Blandino.
Enough with all that walking, it was time to eat dinner at the Corner Restaurant.
The next morning we had breakfast at the B & B and got our photos taken with the owners, Kimberly and Mike Weeks. We absolutely loved this place!
